for the past 3 years, i’ve tried to make new years resolutions that i can actually keep. three years ago, it was making cards for people’s birthdays. so that also meant trying to remember birthdays which was two years ago…this was kinda hard. especially when you have about 250 dates to remember (and growing!!!) last year, it was flossing every day. i would guess i probably skipped 3 or 4 days a month, so that’s pretty good considering i was never really a flosser. turns out that my teeth are in pretty good condition…so says my new dentist. if you live in atlanta, you HAVE to switch to atlanta dental spa. dr. susan estep is the best and their office is fabulous. it’s like none other. i really don’t know why all doctors can’t be like this place. anyway, i digress.
so this year, my one resolution will encompass different parts of my life. i resolve to have a firm handle on my calendar/schedule. so i’m hoping to accomplish 3 things with this resolution:
first: be able to get to bed each night so that i can wake up and spend some quiet time with my Creator.
second: know when people’s birthdays and anniversaries are coming up so that i can at the VERY least send them an e-card
third: find enough time to be consistent with my blog.
so no more “happy birthday” postings for birthdays that occurred 3 months prior. i guess you can all keep me to this resolution. i give you full permission to call me out via comments when i’m not doing so well.
as you can see. i have updated the look of my blog. a new look for a new year. i’ve also decided that i don’t have to post pictures in order to blog. although that would be ideal.
i have 2 blogs that i have not posted. one being about my papa’s birthday (12/12/08, sorry i’m late with the posting, papa) and the second on christmas.
so for now…i will wish you happy new year. may it be fruitful, intentional and creative.
