…am I off to a good start?
Aunt Peggy (Leroy’s great aunt) moved from New York to Georgia to be close to family. She had been going to a nearby Senior Center and taking art classes. She has painted some really great pictures. When I pick up one she painted for us, I’ll be sure to share a picture of it. She mentioned she needed an apron with a pocket for her paining classes. In the same conversation, I mentioned a Starbucks apron Leroy has from his Barista days. She asked if she could have one of those. I told her I would do her one better and make her one. So I had some left over fabric from a messenger bag I made for my friend Travis (which I’ll share with you later if Travis is able to take a pic of it for me). It was actually drapery fabric, so it was heavy duty like corduroy. She wanted it to be heavy duty and to have a pocket for her towel.
Anyway, here is the apron I made for Aunt Peggy. Hope you like it

Very cute and nice work! I’m sure you’re Aunt loves getting your handmade gift
